They had to go into extras to do it, but the softball team avenged Tuesday's season opening loss to Reading with 2-1 ninth inning victory yesterday afternoon.
Clara Rodrigue hit a two-out, RBI double in the bottom or the seventh to send the game into extra innings.
Gabby Potvin got the win over previously undefeated Reading.
Lillian Krekeler was 3-4 on the game and scored the winning run when Carly Heuer's grounder was misplayed by Reading.
