The Loose Cannons (senior girls' rec basketball team, above ) took on the Trollz (junior girls' rec basketball team, below) at the high school gym on Friday night.
Steve Lohman was on PA and the Trollz decorated the gym to honor their senior counterparts.
But the Trollz gave no quarter once the whistle blew, cruising to a 15-6 halftime lead.
The seniors did not back down, however, and narrowed the gap to 21-20 with 20 seconds to play.
They couldn't get that last point though, and the game ended as a 21-20 Trollz victory.
The rec tournament starts next week, and the teams are on opposite sides of the bracket, so don't rule out a rematch for the championship.
