We went to see the eye doctor and surgeon today with Jane and everything continues to be good news. The blood clots are over 95% cleared up, and vision is returning to normal. The swelling is almost all gone, and Jane is looking to return to normal. Her iris still does not respond correctly to light, but it has improved somewhat. The doctor said if it is going to return to full function, it may take up to a year for full recovery. One more trip to a surgeon on Friday afternoon to check out her nose.
So far, no one is suggesting she should not be able to enroll in the AFA in June.
Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers—I think we will not need any more updates!
This blog was brought to you by the Wyoming Athletic Boosters. It was meant to provide an easy way for you to keep up to date about what’s going on in Wyoming sports. We have discontinued service after the 2015-2016 year. The new athletics website will be fulfilling this role.
