He earned 12 varsity letters in football, basketball and track. He was a three-time first-team all-state selection (one in football and two in basketball). During his career, he scored a then-school record 30 touchdowns as a tight end. He had school records for 623 reception yards in one season and 1,030 for his career. In basketball, he was the school’s all-time leading scorer (1,322 points) and rebounder (1,374) when he graduated. He lettered for three seasons as a tight end at UC.

Steve Bell, WHS '73, selected for Buddy LaRosa's High School Sports Hall of Fame
Steve Bell, Wyoming High School Class of 1973, will be inducted into Buddy LaRosa's High School Sports Hall of Fame this June.
We just found out that Steve Bell's rebounding record at Wyoming is also a state record. ohsaa.org now has it posted. Steve is the leading all time rebounder in the State of Ohio history.
